ATLANTA — Allconnect, a leader in sales and marketing solutions for energy companies, today announced that Rob Caiello, vice president of marketing and customer experience, has been named to the board of directors of Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative (SECC).
SECC serves as a trusted source of information for industry stakeholders seeking a broad understanding of consumers’ views about electricity delivery and energy usage, as well as consumers seeking an understanding of the value and experience of a modern electrical grid.
“Rob has provided invaluable insights to our research committee for the past few years, and we look forward to his thoughtful contributions to our board of directors,” said Patty Durand, SECC President and CEO.
SECC’s governing board has 17 directors who represent commercial, utility and advocacy organizations along with SECC’s President and CEO. Started in 2012, SECC’s board has staggered terms, with approximately seven directors elected each year to a two-year term.
At Allconnect, Caiello is responsible for business-to-business marketing, communication strategies and the customer experience. Prior to Allconnect, he was director of affinity and partnership marketing at DirectTV, where he also was responsible for retention and loyalty programs. He began his consumer marketing career at Home Shopping Network and HSN.com. Caiello has a BS in Industrial Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a MBA from Syracuse University.
“I’m honored to serve SECC as we continue to explore the issues that are important to the success of our dynamic industry,” said Caiello. “It will be exciting to build on SECC’s successes and help ensure the industry is well-positioned to seize the opportunities ahead.”
